Senior Safety and Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our project teams in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the project to implement and maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment.
Responsibilities- Monitor and review Project HSE Management Plans
- Use Project specific toolbox topics to address local HSE issues and facilitate toolbox meetings
- Consult with workers to improve HSE on site
- Coach and influence site workers and management on hazard and risk management tools
- Conduct incident investigations
- Perform HSE inspections with site personnel and coach participants in identifying hazards and controls
- Monitor and review HSE registers
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in large scale Civil Construction, infrastructure &/or remote projects
- Formal OSH Qualifications such as Cert IV or Diploma
- Cert 4 in Training and Assessment - An advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter with ability to communicate with all stakeholder levels
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical
