Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our Project Ceres Urea Plant team as an HSE Advisor. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a landmark project in Western Australia, requiring a high level of health, safety, and environmental awareness.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will advise and support management and staff on best practices for health, safety, and environmental management.
  • They will conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Our ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, aligned with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring and enforcing compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as providing training and support to employees at all levels.
  • Additionally, they will lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • The HSE Advisor will prepare and submit regular reports to senior management, providing valuable insights into the project's HSE performance.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a HSE Advisor in construction or related industries is required.
  • Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety is essential.
  • The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and environmental management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role, as the candidate will be working closely with management and staff at all levels.
