Our Transport Coordinator will be the key point of contact between drivers, clients, and internal teams. This role involves assisting with day-to-day logistics activities including scheduling deliveries, monitoring routes, and ensuring that transport operations run smoothly and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route and allocate delivery runs
- Provide track and trace updates
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues
- Update and maintain accurate records of transport activities
- Monitor compliance with safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements
- Problem solving and driver support
About You
- Proven experience in transport allocation / scheduling
- Understanding of timber and hardware home delivery sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Freight Management system
- Customer-facing logistics/distribution experience
- Strong computer and time management skills
- Clean communication and interpersonal skills
