Cytiva is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth and innovation across our life sciences offerings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accelerating sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver complex solutions.

  • Lead commercial discussions with key customers to navigate internal and external stakeholders at both management and engineering levels.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities across Asia Pacific for process development, flex factories, aseptic filling, complex hardware, or customized hardware and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive in-depth commercial discussions with customers on gene and cell therapy manufacturing process design decisions.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration among all parts of the Cytiva commercial organization to increase customer qualification and accelerate sales opportunities.
  • Work directly with project managers, lead system design engineers, process design engineers, and site implementation teams to deliver successful complex FlexFactories, KUBio, or Hardware Solutions to Cytiva customers.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in engineering/biopharma.
  • Proven commercial track record in multiple bioprocessing modalities with product management/offering/large deals expertise.
  • Strong manufacturing and engineering knowledge including quality and regulatory understanding of bioprocessing modalities, including gene therapy and mRNA fields.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
  • Demonstrated high-level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers effectively.
