Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Coordinator

The Injury Management and Workers Compensation Specialist role is critical to mitigating workplace injuries across the organization. This position exists to effectively manage injury management and rehabilitation for injured employees, providing strong, professional and well-considered advice and guidance.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate workers compensation insurance premiums and claims processes, ensuring accurate submissions and timely renewals.
- Manage and coordinate injury management activities, providing case management and professional advice to relevant managers and Return to Work Coordinators.
- Liaise with insurers to ensure effective claim management and successful rehabilitation of injured employees.
- Maintain knowledge of all relevant workers compensation legal frameworks across Australian states and territories.
- Assist in investigations into workplace injuries to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Safety, Social Science or Occupational Health.
- Minimum 5 years of injury management experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong working knowledge of WHS and Workers Compensation legislation across all Australian states and territories.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills for liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Successful candidates will receive required training and support for ongoing growth and development.
