Job Opportunity: Injury Prevention Specialist
Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team. As an Injury Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting workplace safety and supporting employees with non-work-related injuries.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide immediate care and support for workplace injuries and illnesses
- Develop and manage comprehensive return-to-work plans in collaboration with stakeholders
- Oversee the end-to-end injury management process, including workers' compensation claims
- Deliver expert advice on prevention and early intervention strategies
- Collaborate with occupational health teams to identify hazards and improve overall workplace safety
- Return to Work Coordinator qualifications or equivalent experience
- Current unrestricted membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW)
- Experience in injury management and prevention
- Strong understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative frameworks
- Proven ability to align injury prevention strategies with broader organisational goals
