As a Work Injury and Compensation Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing central support to our organization's WHS and Wellbeing Lead and Operations team.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • ">
  • Managing workers compensation claims from start to finish, ensuring seamless administration and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Conducting thorough case reviews and collaborating with insurers, medical professionals, and management to ensure effective claim management and injury prevention strategies.
  • Preparing and lodging injury notifications within required timeframes to minimize delays and facilitate prompt resolution.
  • Providing expert advice on injury management and return-to-work plans to support the successful rehabilitation of injured staff members.
  • Maintaining accurate records of hazards, injuries, and claims to inform data-driven decision making and optimize workplace health and safety outcomes.

Qualifications and experience required for this role include:

  • Demonstrated expertise in injury management service delivery, including payroll processes and SIRA Return to Work Coordination training.
  • Qualifications in a workplace health and safety-related discipline or workers compensation claims management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administration skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to negotiate and collaborate with various parties to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
