Commercial Property Leasing Specialist

The State Government department is seeking a full-time Property Leasing Agent on an initial 6-month contract. This role involves managing a large portfolio of commercial properties across the state.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Respond to enquiries and liaise with offices, consultants, local shires, and other government agencies.
  • Engage stakeholders at various levels.
  • Provide leasing advice to customers.
  • Manage lease increases and prepare correspondence regarding all leasing matters.
  • Evaluate current policies and procedures contributing to service delivery.
  • Liaise with landlords and lessees regarding maintenance issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Preferably commercial leasing experience.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder liaison skills.
  • A good understanding of the property market.
  • Effective people management skills.
  • Excellent communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a large leasing portfolio.
