About You- **Confident Communication Skills**: You will be able to effectively engage with clients, build positive relationships, and support their unique needs.
- **Resilience and Adaptability**: You will be able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and adapt to changing situations.
- **Task Prioritization and Problem-Solving**: You will be skilled in prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities.
- **Flexibility and Availability**: You will be available for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
- **Technical Skills**: You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
- **Certifications and Checks**: You will hold a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- **Health and Safety**: You will be able to pass a National Criminal History Check and maintain full COVID vaccination status.
- **Experience and Qualifications**: You will have experience working with high-needs Disability clients and hold a Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent.
- **Desirable Skills**: You will have demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes and handy craft skills (sewing, knitting, crocheting).
- **Competitive Salary**: You will receive Schad's Award Level 2 pay rates, with opportunities for salary packaging.
