The Support Worker role at Challenge Community Services is a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to clients, enabling them to live independently and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support and care to clients with disabilities, focusing on skill development and enrichment.
- Engage with clients in creative activities, such as cooking, music, crafts, and leisure sports, to promote social interaction and skill-building.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve client outcomes.
- Confident and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and Working With Children Check.
- Full COVID vaccination status.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities (desirable).
- Award Level 2 pay rates $33.41 - $36.46 based on experience and qualifications.
