Senior Financial Analyst Role

The Senior Financial Analyst role is a great opportunity to join a professional and friendly team. We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join the Commercial team on a Permanent, Fulltime basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The annual business plan and regular reforecasting processes require strong financial management skills.
  • Capital management and providing guidance to internal stakeholders involve strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Leadership of the site Business Improvement function including investment analysis demands expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Business risk management based on value enhancement requires a thorough understanding of market trends and industry developments.
  • Insurance management and co-ordination of renewals necessitate effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Liaising with senior management team and wider business involves building strong relationships and collaboration.

In this role, you will also provide Mine management with analysis of strategic business options and reasoned recommendations for business enhancement.

Requirements:
  • Commercial or Accounting qualifications (CPA or CA well regarded) are essential for this role.
  • Mining industry experience is highly valued, particularly in areas such as finance and operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
  • Able to work in a small friendly team and focus on continuous improvement and value creation.
  • Experience with Pulse ERP and Xeras modelling software is desirable but not essential.
