Senior Leadership Opportunity

The Distribution Governance team is responsible for ensuring the risks associated with the distribution of financial products are understood and managed effectively. This requires a collaborative approach across Personal Banking to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.

As a senior leader in this team, you will play a key role in promoting a risk-aware culture within Personal Banking. Your responsibilities will include leading a team to conduct application reviews, overseeing initiatives to improve compliance oversight and operational efficiency, staying updated with relevant regulations, and representing the direct sales and variation team within the Banking and Financial Services ecosystem.

By working closely with the Personal Banking sales team, you will help ensure the integrity and robustness of the distribution process. You will also be responsible for managing the team's priorities and strategic focus, supporting the team's management, culture, and strategic direction.

Requirements
  • Previous leadership experience and 3+ years in a Risk or Compliance role, preferably within home lending
  • Knowledge of relevant internal and external regulations for home lending
  • Experience managing programs of work with strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Critical thinking skills to solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
