Job Description

The Store Designer will oversee the design process for retail fit-outs across Sunglass Hut, OPSM, Laubman & Pank, and Oakley.

This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, handling store development projects in Australia and New Zealand.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of each of our retail brands (brand identity, operations and merchandise) as they relate to the store design
  • Create local design standards documents based on global design concepts
  • Partner with our global design team in Italy, to ensure store designs meet Australian standards and local project criteria
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, in particular Construction, Operations, VM and Property representatives, to ensure alignment of time, cost and quality in delivering projects

A salary range of AUD 90,000 - 110,000 per annum is offered for this position, depending on experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent

3+ years' experience in retail design

A thorough knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards

Proficient in AutoCAD

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) experience beneficial

Excellent communication and people management skills

Outstanding time management and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects
