About the Role

We are seeking a skilled UX Design Specialist to join our multi-disciplinary scrum team in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our digital experience team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional user experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure seamless collaboration with the team.
  • Create and maintain user personas and customer journey maps to drive design decisions.
  • Design and develop visual and interactive designs, including prototypes, conceptual diagrams, site maps, interaction flows, storyboards, page/screen wireframes, information architecture, and more.
  • Promote shared ways of working and contribute to shared artifacts and design libraries within our User Experience Community of Practice.
  • Employ research and testing tools to gather consumer insights and inform or validate designs.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience with user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, and accessibility requirements.
  • The ability to work autonomously in a squad environment while contributing to collaborative efforts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex design challenges.
  • A good working knowledge of design and web software, including Google Analytics, Mouseflow, Optimizely, Adobe XD, and Optimal Workshop.
  • Effective communication skills to build and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders.
