Senior Conversation Designer - Agent Experience & Technology

We are seeking an experienced Senior Conversation Designer to join our dynamic team at Woolworths Group. This is a permanent role based in Surry Hills, with remote working flexibility.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a customer-centric technology business at the heart of Australia's largest retailer. You will lead the implementation of the latest conversational AI methodology, bringing GenAI to life and enabling digital shopping magic for customers across our ecosystem.

  • Craft conversation experiences for custom virtual assistants to have natural, contextual conversations over hundreds of topics, in several modalities.
  • Collaborate with the product team to define bot strategy, designing user experiences and implementing LLMs, prompt engineering, and other tools into our design stack.
  • Advocate for the importance of Conversational Design and drive every stage of the CxD process, improving content governance, workflows, and organisational structure.
Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in conversational interfaces or voice assistants, including copywriting chops to craft high and low-fidelity chat and voice assistant demos and design.
  • Experience in both NLU & LLM AI, with expertise in utilising Generative AI, implementing LLMs, prompt engineering, and knowledge base retrieval.
  • User research experience, with a focus on usability testing and translating user research into practical product improvements.
  • Agile environment experience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
