Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process and develop budgets for Board approval, ensuring strategic alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Maintain a robust five-year capital plan, guaranteeing projects meet business requirements.
  • Oversee capital approval workflows and ensure compliance with governance protocols, mitigating risks and optimizing outcomes.
  • Provide insightful commercial and financial analysis throughout the capital budgeting and project lifecycle, informing key decisions.
  • Develop and enforce asset risk management standards and practices, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to maintain and enhance project management tools and methodologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor capital spend against budget, identify variances, and proactively manage associated risks, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Report on project and portfolio performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or a related field, underpinning your expertise.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management are essential for this role.
  • Proven experience in capital governance, project management, and financial analysis within a manufacturing environment is highly valued.
  • A strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and asset maintenance philosophies will serve as a solid foundation.
