Strategic Capital Governance Specialist

The Capital Governance Manager is a pivotal position in embedding capital governance across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will integrate strategic oversight, project management excellence, and asset risk management.
Main Responsibilities:- Coordinate annual budgeting processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and submit budgets for approval.
- Maintain five-year capital plans and ensure projects align with corporate objectives.
- Oversee capital approval workflows and ensure compliance with governance protocols and efficiency in the approvals process.
- Provide commercial and financial insights throughout the capital budgeting and project lifecycle.
- Develop and enforce asset risk management standards and practices in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Support delivery teams with project management and reporting expertise.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to maintain and enhance project management tools and methodologies.
- Monitor capital spend against budgets, identify variances, and manage associated risks.
- Report on project and portfolio performance using key performance indicators and dashboards.
- Facilitate post-project reviews, major project risk reviews, and lessons learned sessions.
