The Production Manager oversees the production team and leads the delivery of custom projects and retail roll-outs from initial concept to successful completion.
They are responsible for strategic planning, scheduling and ensuring every project runs on time and within budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Leading a team of 10+ multi-skilled production staff (sign-writers, cabinet makers, print finishers and more).
- Adopting the use of Shopvox Production Software.
- Managing stock levels.
- Maintaining a high level of safety complying with all OH&S regulations.
- Ensuring all machinery is operating efficiently and serviced on-time.
- Limiting overtime by running a tight and efficient schedule.
- Staff management including casuals and sub-contractors.
- Proven ability to lead team and manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience in custom fabrication and/or signage installations.
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
- Practical, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in high pressure situations while maintaining a sense of humour and a smile.
