Operations Director

We are seeking a high-calibre Operations Director to lead our defence manufacturing operations, driving transformation, delivery excellence and real outcomes in a world-class environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee production, supply chain, logistics and compliance teams, leading major change initiatives and delivering results.
- Own the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to customer delivery, championing EHS, Quality, Export Control and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver 100% quality and on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance, drive lean improvements and ERP transformations, and contribute to strategic growth.
- 6-10+ years of experience in senior operations or production roles, with a proven track record in defence industry leadership.
- A strong grasp of Australian EHS regulations and export compliance, including ITAR.
- Natural leadership presence, credible, decisive and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain or engineering, with a master's degree preferred.
- Australian citizenship, NV1 clearance eligibility required.
- Lead a global engineering team with cutting-edge technology.
- A short-term incentive bonus (5% of salary).
- A high-ownership role reporting to an experienced GM.
- Strategic influence and hands-on leadership.
- Tight-knit team culture with global exposure.
- Travel ~10% (domestic and occasional international).
