Key Responsibilities

This role is integral to the Site Leadership Team and Packaging operation, providing leadership while establishing and maintaining a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

  • Determine manufacturing process capability and identify line constraints.
  • Develop, own and ensure execution of the manufacturing Continuous Improvement plan.
  • Plan, direct and control end-to-end operations within the packaging department.
  • Ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness through compliance with all relevant Environment, Health and Safety, Quality standards and policies as well as applicable Legal requirements.
  • Improve organisation effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a performance culture.
  • Lead implementation and embedding of Asahi Way.

About You:

  • A degree in Management, Food Technology, Science, Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
  • Demonstrated achievement of improvement & change in a traditional manufacturing environment.
  • Budget preparation and P&L management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with other continuous improvement programs, e.g. Lean, Six Sigma.
  • Prior experience in a leadership position.
  • Strong Relationship Management skills.
