Job Description

We are seeking an Expert Legal Advisor to join our team in Community Banking. The successful candidate will provide strategic legal guidance on governance, compliance, risk, and regulatory matters within the Community Bank model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and guidance to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Advise on obligations under franchise agreements and support governance, compliance, risk, and regulatory matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and codes of conduct.
  • Understanding of legislative impacts from a government perspective.
  • Demonstrated legal experience, ideally within Banking, Finance, Franchising, regulatory, or compliance sectors.
  • Knowledge of Banking, Finance and franchising governance frameworks and related regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to demonstrate broad knowledge of company structures and local company frameworks.
  • Sound knowledge of general banking practices (advantageous).
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • Qualified Lawyer with 7-10+ years PQE.
