Job Title:Banking and Finance Legal Advisor
In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel on business banking and corporate finance transactions. You will work closely with the senior legal team to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice on business banking, corporate finance, trade finance, and small business lending transactions.
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing transaction documents.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks.
- Developing and maintaining legal templates, guidelines, and training materials.
- Monitoring changes in banking and finance laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in banking and finance law.
- Solid background in business banking, corporate finance, and trade finance.
- Proven drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Confidence in communicating complex legal issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
- Current practicing certificate as a solicitor in New South Wales or equivalent Australian jurisdiction.
