Job Description

The Legal Advisor provides expert guidance to a leading healthcare provider on legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.

This role involves providing timely and accurate legal advice on various matters, including statutory reporting, corporate governance, contracts, property, estates, IT, IP, privacy, and others.

The Legal Advisor will work closely with the Executive team to provide strategic and operational support, ensuring that the organization's interests are protected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on a range of matters, including contracts, property, estates, and IT.
  • Monitor and respond to Privacy-related correspondence.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with project planning and execution, ensuring that all legal aspects are considered.
  • Protect the organization's interests in contract negotiations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law and current practising certificate.
  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong verbal communication, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
