Senior Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Advisor to play an integral part in establishing and building the project's positive reputation with the community and impacted residents, stakeholder groups, traders, and schools.
About the RoleThis is an opportunity to join a highly successful program alliance contracted by the Victorian Government to remove most dangerous and congested level crossings. This critical infrastructure project has significant public impact.
The Senior Advisor will report to the Manager, Communications & Stakeholder Relations on the Southern Program Alliance and be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication and stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Develop and implement effective communication plans to engage stakeholders and build trust.
- Identify key stakeholders and develop strong relationships through proactive engagement, consultation, and addressing concerns.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and stakeholder engagement activities.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, minimum 5 years' professional experience in stakeholder management, customer or community liaison and communications, and demonstrated experience on a Rail/Civil Infrastructure project or within a similar complex environment.
