Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

Join us to apply for a challenging role as a Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to play a lead role in the planning and implementation of communication and engagement strategies for our priority projects.
This position involves the facilitation of community and stakeholder consultation workshops, media and issues management, and content development.
- Prepare high-quality and timely communication materials to support the delivery of some of our largest projects.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Identify and manage risks and issues related to project communications, offering expert guidance on risk management and formulating effective mitigation strategies.
We are looking for:
- Proven experience in communications and stakeholder engagement within a project delivery environment, with the ability to develop plans that clearly define objectives and outline specific actions to achieve them.
- Ability to recognise and address stakeholders' underlying needs while fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Experience drafting and refining communications using clear, concise, and grammatically accurate language; ensures content includes all necessary information to fulfill its purpose and meet audience needs, using suitable styles and formats.
