About the Role- Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder and community engagement program that aligns with project objectives and engages stakeholders effectively, projecting a strong and positive image of the project.
- Collaborate closely with the project communications team to identify and manage stakeholder and community issues, providing strategic advice to enable successful project delivery.
Assisting in the development of project sub-plans and procedures is an essential aspect of this role. Effective stakeholder and community management requires demonstrated expertise in strategic communications advisory and services roles, encompassing corporate communications, stakeholder relations, and marketing communications.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the project construction team to minimize disruption to stakeholders and the community.
- Plan and execute external stakeholder engagement strategies to enhance the reputation of the Project Owner and its partners.
- Ensure timely communication and notification compliance with Project Owner framework requirements.
- Craft high-quality communication materials, including notifications, newsletters, advertising, social media posts, and formal correspondence.
- Manage stakeholder responses through phone, email, website, and social media channels.
- Prepare engaging presentations for stakeholder and community meetings.
- Contribute to identifying potential risks and hazards affecting stakeholders and the community.
- Maintain accurate records of community and stakeholder activities.
