Amida Group is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join their growing business.

About the Role

This senior design position will provide strategic civil design advice across various projects. The ideal candidate has approximately 10 years' experience in civil design, with exposure to mining, renewables or major infrastructure projects being a bonus.

The successful individual will contribute to the delivery of complex projects, including demolition, bulk earthworks, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation, etc.

  • Lead and develop civil design packages for multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
  • Review and resolve technical challenges throughout design stages.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to tender and pre-construction activities.

Responsibilities may also include:

  • Developing practical and efficient design solutions that support high-quality project delivery.
  • Working closely with senior leadership, project managers, project engineers, design consultants, and on-site teams.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years' experience in civil design across infrastructure, mining, renewables or other sectors.
  • Proficiency in industry design tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and design best practices.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites when required.
