Civil Engineering Project Leadership

We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to lead our team and deliver high-quality results in civil design engineering projects from concept to final handover.

  • This senior leadership position requires an accomplished Civil Design Engineer to oversee project outcomes, client partnerships, emerging engineers, and championing growth across the Melbourne market.
  • A pivotal role blending technical expertise with operational oversight, guiding delivery of high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in design, project delivery, and leadership, as well as demonstrated success in leading, managing, and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory); Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or eligibility highly regarded.
  • Minimum 10+ years' proven experience in civil engineering.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong client relationship skills, with experience in business development, tender preparation, and bid management.
  • Connections and networks with land developers highly regarded.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Victorian civil engineering standards, guidelines, and approval processes.
  • MRWA certification or working towards it in sewer and water design, essential for subdivision approvals.
