Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior/Principal Civil Designer to contribute to the successful delivery of challenging projects across various sectors including building construction, renewables, industrial, mining, and resources.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 years of experience in civil design with exposure to mining, renewables, or major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include leading and developing civil design packages for various projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external consultants, reviewing and resolving technical challenges across design stages, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and safety requirements, and contributing to tender and pre-construction activities.

  • Develop comprehensive civil design packages for multiple projects
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Resolve complex technical issues at different design stages
  • Maintain strict adherence to Australian regulations and safety protocols
  • Contribute to proposal development and project planning processes

Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 7+ years' experience in civil design across infrastructure, mining, renewables, or other sectors.

Additional qualifications include proficiency in industry design tools, a strong understanding of construction methodologies and design best practices, excellent communication and team collaboration skills, and flexibility to travel to project sites when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • At least 7+ years' experience in civil design across infrastructure, mining, renewables, or other sectors
  • Proficient in industry design software
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and design best practices
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel to project sites when required
