Job Description

The Role: Lived Experience Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lived Experience Lead to work with our team and ensure that the voice of lived experience is at the heart of everything we do.

As a Lived Experience Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients, their families, carers and volunteers are listened to and understood. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality care and services that meet the needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the voice of lived experience is embedded in all aspects of quality assurance, including Board of Directors and Executive Team meetings.
  • Work with the Experience of Care team to collate and understand patient and carer feedback, and inform quality improvement and assurance work.
  • Represent the Trust on local and national forums and networks, and provide feedback to the wider Experience of Care team.

Requirements:

  • Lived experience of mental health, learning disability, dementia or autism (personal or carer) and supporting others to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Ability to write clear reports and incorporate statistical information appropriately.
