Job Title: Outpatient Service Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to coordinate outpatient services in our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide reception services to meet the daily requirements for outpatient services.
  • Coordinate patient information in a timely manner using our Patient Administration System.
  • Monitor and manage waitlists for all specialties, ensuring patients are booked within timeframe or escalated as necessary.
  • Book appointments correctly into WebPAS and notify patients of their appointments and costs.
  • Receive and respond to outpatient-related telephone calls, evaluating and initiating action as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in varied clerical duties and reception with a strong front-line customer focus.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with ability to be flexible and work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer software packages, including Patient Administration systems and MS Office products.
  • Accurate data processing/keyboard skills and ability to organise and prioritise tasks with minimal supervision.
