**Job Title:** Dispatch / Call Taker


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and professional individual to fill the role of Dispatch/Call Taker. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient resourcing, scheduling, and logistical operations necessary to maintain our high standard of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient transfers for Mental Health and Non-Emergency Patients between hospitals and within the community.
  • Manage crews to ensure efficient patient movement, transport, and optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Handle customer calls and manage the booking process.
  • Plan and dispatch bookings to maximize resource efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate entry of booking and patient transport data into our system.
  • Collaborate with the Rosters team to ensure optimal crew allocations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, is proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Previous experience in a call centre or customer services environment is ideal, but not essential. A knowledge of Patient Transport Services would be advantageous.
