National Manager, Indigenous Strategy and Operations

About the Role:
The Australian Catholic University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Manager, Indigenous Strategy and Operations to join our team. As a key member of the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor and First Peoples Directorate, you will contribute significantly to the strategic and operational planning activities of the university.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic policy advice and lead key initiatives that promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student success nationally.
- Oversee the administrative and reporting functions of the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous).
- Lead and inspire teams to successfully deliver/manage complex projects and comprehensive reporting across wide-ranging stakeholder relationships.
Requirements:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to enable an informed approach to strategy and policy development.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, driving performance, and achieving organisational goals.
- Strong understanding of the Australian higher education sector and its challenges.
What We Offer:
- Total remuneration valued from $171,428 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $145,047 (pro rata) pa (HEW 10).
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
