We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our Indigenous Community Experience Squad, where you'll play a crucial role in creating meaningful careers for Indigenous Australians at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

As a team, we're responsible for delivering the bank's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Careers Programs, providing a culturally safe environment for First Nations employees to grow their careers and driving our experienced hires strategy to support progress towards the Group's parity aspiration.

Key priorities for this role include:

  • Providing guidance and support for Indigenous candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Negotiating and influencing stakeholders to drive results and manage risk
  • Improving the Indigenous employee experience at the bank through cross-squad initiatives

Successful candidates will have:

  • Knowledge and experience with Indigenous cultures, communities, and affairs, with a strong commitment to improving Indigenous employment outcomes
  • Sound commercial skills, including negotiation, influencing, stakeholder management, and risk management
  • Recruitment expertise and knowledge, with the ability to drive end-to-end processes and balance candidate supply requirements with demand generation from the business
