Job Role: Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Planning and Forecasting: Provide support to the Delivery Stream Manager with budget planning and forecasting.
  • Project Delivery: Manage and deliver allocated projects within approved budget, schedule, and quality including achieving performance targets.
  • Project Closure: Complete and close out projects in accordance with applicable and project-specific design change policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Task Management: Manage allocated tasks, including bidding, delivering early engineering design, and closing out technical support networks with stakeholders.
  • Team Performance: Direct and monitor the performance of contractors, designers, and other team members to meet task requirements.
  • System Development: Develop high-level system requirements and system design to meet JORN specifications.
  • Safety Management: Conduct safety walks, process confirmations, and support the implementation of safety improvements and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering discipline, with working experience in technical design and development.
  • Experience in Engineering Process, Methods, Tools, and Infrastructure.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a project team environment, including some project management experience.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
