Renewable Energy Program Leader

We are seeking a senior project engineer to lead the mechanical and rotating plant elements of our Synthetic Condenser program, a critical renewable energy initiative in Australia.

  • Review design packages from external partners for quality, safety, and compliance with performance standards.
  • Act as the interface between multiple partners, resolving issues and driving alignment.
  • Get hands-on in technical matters, including vibration analysis and commissioning planning.
  • Manage governance and reporting while challenging contractors to deliver the right outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal teams to keep the project moving.

About You:

  • You have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Mechanical preferred.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in engineering roles within energy, utilities, or heavy industry.
  • You have direct experience in the design, commissioning, or maintenance of rotating plant (generators, turbines, motors, compressors, synchronous condensers).
  • You have a track record of delivering large-scale projects through both office-based design coordination and field implementation.
  • You possess strong communication skills and resilience, adaptability, and a safety-first mindset.
