Experienced Body Repair Specialist

At Busways, we're seeking a skilled Body Repair Specialist to join our team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional results in the repair and maintenance of vehicles.
We offer an attractive remuneration package, with an estimated annual salary of $103,000-$115,000. This includes:
- $37.31-$41.96 per hour, depending on skills and experience
- A daily attendance allowance of $32
- Overtime opportunities
- Annual leave loading of 17.5%
- Be provided with ongoing training and development, including Heavy Vehicle Brake courses
- A weekly tool allowance
- The opportunity to work on a range of vehicles, including Euro 5 & 6 technologies
- The chance to upgrade from a car licence to MR licence, with the company covering the costs
This role requires a mature and professional approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on quality and safety. Your main duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation and cleaning of surfaces prior to paint application
- Removing, repairing, and replacing damaged panels
- Maintenance of spray-painting equipment and tools
- Providing body structural, accident damage, and associated repairs, service, and maintenance to vehicles
- Maintaining clean workshop practices and adhering to high standards
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Eligibility Criteria:- Relevant trade qualifications
- Sound level and demonstrated skills in a spray-painting role
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Adherence to safety standards and company policies
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment
