We are currently seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Safety Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a pivotal role in managing and implementing comprehensive workplace health and safety strategies, ensuring the well-being of employees while contributing to the success of landmark projects.

About the Role:

  • You will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety within the organisation, monitoring site activities to identify and mitigate hazards, and ensuring safe work practices are upheld.
  • You will develop and implement policies to enhance awareness of occupational health and safety, driving compliance and fostering a shared commitment to workplace well-being.

Duties:

  • Advise on provisions to minimise safety risks and hazards
  • Direct accident investigation procedures
  • Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert IV in OH&S/WHS
  • Proven experience as in a safety officer role
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Diligent with an analytical mind
