Job Description

As a Senior Knowledge Lawyer, you will provide professional support to all lawyers and partners within the national Commercial practice, focusing on the Corporate & Commercial, Banking & Financial Services and Tax sections.

You will work in our highly regarded Knowledge team to develop and implement precedents and projects plan for the national Commercial practice groups, facilitate development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements, draft and maintain precedents, be a champion for style guide compliance, and conduct file audits in conjunction with the Risk team.

You will also write key matter summaries for business development, maintain awareness of legislative and case law changes, and provide regular updates to the Commercial practice groups.

Additionally, you will prepare and deliver legal educational training, and deliver style, precedents, and writing training to the firm.

Requirements
  • A minimum of four years of post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial law.
  • A specific and strong interest in knowledge sharing, precedent development, and style compliance.
  • Advanced document drafting and contract review skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise and project manage autonomously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
