Knowledge Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Knowledge Acquisition Specialist to join our Litigation and Regulatory Knowledge Management team. The ideal candidate will support our Global Construction Disputes Practice Group, focusing on knowledge development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the construction disputes team in designing and delivering training programs.
  • Develop and present twice-yearly construction trainee training sessions.
  • Organize annual construction disputes training days in London and Manchester.
  • Provide expert advice on construction law, contract law, and adjudication.
  • Offer internal updates on recent cases and regulatory developments.
  • Assist partners and associates with conference ideas and materials.
  • Draft, manage, and update construction disputes knowledge documents.
  • Work with Trainee Lawyers to produce monthly Case Law updates.

International Expertise:

  • Collaborate with global construction group leaders and marketing teams.
  • Develop and plan global construction activities.
  • Provide expertise on litigation and arbitration matters.
  • Contribute to thought leadership pieces, including proposing, drafting, and editing articles.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with extensive contentious construction dispute experience.
  • Preferably arbitration experience.
  • Exceptional technical academic credentials and broad practical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and able to coordinate projects.
