Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Safety Coordinator to enhance our HSEQ team. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  1. Identifying and mitigating safety risks on-site
  2. Supporting the achievement of project goals
  3. Ensuring adherence to VINCI's Safety policies and systems
  4. Fostering a proactive safety culture

Additional duties encompass:

  1. Guiding site personnel to enhance workplace health and safety
  2. Conducting site inspections and audits, providing constructive feedback
  3. Evaluating risks and opportunities for Safety Management improvement
  4. Advising Project Managers on safety-related matters
  5. Investigating accidents and incidents as required
  6. Recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
Desired Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A strong passion for safety
  2. A positive, can-do attitude with a collaborative mindset
  3. A commitment to teamwork and cooperation
  4. Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
  5. Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training
  6. Certification as a Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator
  7. Basic First Aid Certification
