Role Overview

The Senior Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role within our HSEQ team, focusing on the Melbourne airport T4 project. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying and managing safety risks on-site
  2. Supporting the achievement of project goals
  3. Ensuring adherence to VINCI's safety policies and procedures
  4. Fostering a proactive safety culture

Additional duties encompass:

  1. Guiding site personnel to enhance workplace health and safety
  2. Conducting thorough site inspections and audits
  3. Evaluating risks and identifying opportunities for safety improvements
  4. Providing timely safety advice to Project Managers
  5. Investigating incidents and accidents as required
  6. Recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A strong passion for safety and a proactive mindset
  2. A collaborative team-oriented approach
  3. Relevant qualifications, including:
    1. Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
    2. Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training
    3. Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Certification
    4. Basic First Aid Certification
