We are in search of a Senior Safety Coordinator to become part of our HSEQ division for a significant project. The main focus of this position is to:
- Identify and manage safety hazards on site
- Support the accomplishment of project goals
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Foster a proactive safety environment
Additional duties encompass:
- Guiding site staff to enhance workplace health and safety
- Performing site evaluations and audits, providing constructive feedback
- Identifying risks and opportunities for enhancing Safety Management
- Advising Project Managers on safety-related issues in a timely manner
- Conducting investigations into accidents and incidents as required
- Recommending corrective measures to avert future occurrences
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A passionate and proactive approach to safety
- A positive, solution-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit
- A commitment to teamwork and cooperation
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
- Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training
- Certification as a Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator
- Basic First Aid Certification
