About the Role

We are in search of a Senior Safety Coordinator to become an integral part of our HSEQ team for a significant project. The main focus of this position is to:

  1. Identify and manage safety risks on site
  2. Support the achievement of project goals
  3. Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
  4. Foster a culture of safety within the organization

Additional duties include:

  1. Guiding site personnel to enhance workplace health and safety
  2. Performing site inspections and audits with constructive feedback
  3. Evaluating risks and opportunities for advancing Safety Management
  4. Providing timely safety advice to Project Managers
  5. Conducting investigations into accidents and incidents as required
  6. Recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
Successful Applicant Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to safety
  2. A positive, team-oriented mindset
  3. A collaborative spirit
  4. Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
  5. Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training
  6. Certification as a Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator
  7. Basic First Aid Certification
