Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Queensland Health. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in providing expert clinical knowledge and clinical care to consumers/persons/residents with a variety of conditions. You will also be responsible for supporting the general function of units through role modelling and application of the principles of best practice, education, leadership, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver cost-effective workplace training, development, and education to nurses/midwives within the clinical environment in conjunction with the relevant Nurse Educator and Nurse Unit Manager.
- Integrate organisational policies and guidelines with professional standards by maintaining a current knowledge and participating in relevant policy review.
- Undertake and participate in ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with Queensland Health's values:
- Deliver high-quality training and education to nurses/midwives within the clinical environment.
- Develop and maintain a current knowledge of organisational policies and guidelines.
