Clinical Nurse Educator

Job Summary:
Healthscope is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in facilitating the education and development of our nursing staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the education team to develop and implement education programs that meet the needs of our nursing staff.
- Deliver education and support to nursing staff across the facility, including student orientation and ongoing communication of student/staff expectations.
- Maintain an ongoing communication of student/staff expectations and provide learning that meets the needs of students.
- Facilitate the opportunity for students to study and learn through observation, participation, reflection, and skill development.
- Act as a role model for safe practice and promote a culture of excellence in patient care.
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (TAE).
- Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in tertiary education.
- Advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ED/ICU/HDU or high acuity clinical areas.
- Demonstrated experience in management of quality improvement projects.
- Advanced level of decision-making in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable Criteria:
- Postgraduate studies in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in an education/preceptor role.
