Job Title: Hockey Operations SpecialistOverview:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hockey Operations Specialist to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors in managing and directing operations, facilities, and communications.
  • Day-to-day management of all hockey facilities and related operational issues.
  • Preparation of agendas, attendance at meetings, taking minutes, and distribution of minutes for all Board meetings.
  • Management of the membership database system.
  • Preparation of competition draws for winter hockey and other competitions.
  • Assistance to Board Directors with their portfolios and operational assistance where required.
  • Development of policy and procedures.
  • Risk assessment and safety inspections across all facilities.
  • Management of facility bookings, including opening and closing, light schedules, contractors, general maintenance, and security arrangements.
  • Coordination of major works programs.
  • Overseeing canteen operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of hockey facilities.
  • Coordinate with staff and directors to ensure smooth operation of events and activities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in hockey operations or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
