Kirinari is a highly reputable and respected Human Services organisation providing essential care and high-quality support that enrich the lives of our customers. Kirinari employ over 1300 staff in various regions across VIC, NSW and TAS.
About The Position
This position is full-time permanent position located at our Lavington office to commence as soon as practicable.
Our Senior Workforce Specialist (Health & Wellbeing) will enjoy the challenges and development opportunities presented by the exposure they receive to a variety of tasks under the Human Resources banner, allowing them to grow their skill set and progress their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the balanced health and wellbeing of all Kirinari staff
- Assist employees on their return to work journey
- Support the Employee Relations Specialist with industrial matters as required
- Communicate and liaise with external stakeholders
- Collaborate and create connection with cross-functional teams, including operations and management to promote a positive, inclusive culture
- Maintain confidential employee records and prepare relevant reports
- Assist in the administration of HR tasks including recruitment, onboarding, documentation and compliance tracking
- Support and mediate employee relations issues with respect, including conflict resolution, grievances, and workplace investigations
- Proven experience in employee wellbeing, employee engagement or similar HR role
- In-depth understanding of employee wellbeing frameworks, mental health and workplace wellness
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, conflict management and performance management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathetic, proactive and skilled at building relationships and trust across all staff levels
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Experience in operations or an operational environment is highly regarded
- Curious, intuitive, resilient and agile
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
