
Weekend Rehabilitation Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in an ongoing weekend position. As a key member of the multidisciplinary weekend team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing complex cases while providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff.
The role involves delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services across a diverse patient group during weekend shifts. You will lead the development, review, and evaluation of evidence-based clinical protocols, policies, procedures, and resources to ensure alignment with best practice standards and optimal patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional development guidance to junior physiotherapy staff and Allied Health Assistants.
- Leading the development, review, and evaluation of evidence-based clinical protocols, policies, procedures, and resources.
- Undertaking clinical training and education activities.
- Liaising with senior management on service planning, quality standards, staff development, and operational matters within the division.
Requirements include:
- Extensive clinical experience delivering physiotherapy services to diverse patients in acute medical settings.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities or strong motivation to develop management skills.
- A degree or equivalent that entitles registration as a physiotherapist with the relevant governing body.
