Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking experienced professionals in Occupational Therapy to join our team of rehabilitation specialists. The role offers flexibility and autonomy to manage day-to-day activities while enjoying the support of a collaborative and driven group of healthcare experts.

This diverse position allows you to leverage your clinical expertise to deliver improved return-to-work outcomes. You will work closely with employers, employees, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention strategies and workplace education programs.

  • Manage caseloads and collaborate with rehabilitation assistants to ensure effective case management.
  • Apply your occupational therapy skills to enhance return-to-work outcomes for injured workers.
  • Work with employers and employees to design and implement workplace safety initiatives.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team working with injured workers, employers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Support individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve optimal health and return-to-work outcomes.

You will have opportunities to work across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third-party insurance, life insurance, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals with injuries or health conditions.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
